Skewed Fuel Pricing Turning Cancerous

Exhaust fumes from diesel engines do cause cancer, a panel of experts working for the World Health Organization says. It concluded that the exhausts were definitely a cause of lung cancer and may also cause tumours in the bladder.
Share of diesel vehicles in India almost doubled in the last fiscal. A litre of diesel costs Rs 40.91 in Delhi, while a litre of petrol costs Rs.71.92

The cancer stuff may be someone's hallucination. What is fact is that Diesel vehicles have much better fuel economy and that the diesel engine has fundamentally changed for the better with microprocessors.
