senior christist padre does what comes naturally: sexual sleaze, drugs, lying, hypocrisy

nov 3rd, 2006

typical of these snake-oil vendors of the christist church. the guy is a big wheel in anti-gay circles, while he's secretly having regular sex with a male prostitute. such an advertisement for whatever cult he's representing: those 14,000 people he has been misleading must be feeling really really stupid now.

as for drugs, he bought them and 'threw them out'. yeah, right, like clinton's 'i didnt inhale'. he'll now also claim 'i didnt penetrate!'

and this fellow is a big wheel in the fundamentalist christist circles. just like those other villains such as the bakke guy, the swaggart guy et al., who were all found presumably 'rescuing' prostitutes while sampling their wares :-)

christist pastors are the biggest hypocrites around. all that lying for/about their ideology does something to their heads. or maybe it does something to their other end, their flies which they then cannot keep safely buttoned and out of trouble.

oh, i get it, this fellow haggard was doing field research on gay sex just so he could personally know what he condemned regularly.

so much like the two skeletons of 'saint' thomas!

no wonder, they are purveyors of the 'greatest hoax ever perpetrated' :-)

How silly can the 'secular NRI' brigade get? Just when you thought you had seen everything - read this piece

Interestingly, news of this protest was first brought to my notice by a chap in Vancouver, BC who still dreams of an independent 'Khalistan'. They published it in their 'Sikh Victims of Hindutva United' newspaper - he did not like it so much when I showed him some other things published in the same forum.

Wonder if this idiot Randeep Singh will protest a speech by Sonia Maino, knowing as we do about the real genocide - that of the Sikhs in Delhi at the hands of the Congress. However, the victims there being non-Muslims - it will be too 'communal' to bring it up - even if they are your own comunity. Our man is majoring in Philosophy (I guess the engineering courses at UCB were too hard to get) - perhaps he will do a doctorate in Dhimmitude. He can use himself as a study subject.

What a great fall from grace. From the pioneers of the Ghadar Party - the original, path-breaking home of the Non-resident's Indian nationalism - to these flunkey's

ARE WE HEADING TOWARDS A CHRISTIAN INDIA ?
-Fran├žois Gautier

I am a westerner and a born Christian. I was mainly brought in
catholic schools, my uncle, Father Guy Gautier, a gem of a man, was
the parish head of the beautiful Saint Jean de Montmartre church in
Paris ; my father, Jacques Gautier, a famous artist in France, and a
truly good person if there ever was one, was a fervent catholic all
his life, went to church nearly every day and lived by his Christian
values. There are certain concepts in Christianity I am proud of :
charity for others, the equality of system in many western countries,
Christ's message of love and compassion….

Yet, I am a little uneasy when I see how much Christianity is taking
over India under the reign of Sonia Gandhi : according to a 2001
census, there are about 2.34 million Christians in India ; not even
2,5% of the nation, a negligible amount. Yet there are today five
Christian chief ministers in Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Kerala and
Andhra Pradesh.
One should add that the majority of politicians in Sonia Gandhi's
closed circle are either Christians or Muslims. She seems to have no
confidence in Hindus.Ambika Soni, a Christian, is General Secretary of
the Congress and a very powerful person, with close access to Sonia
Gandhi. Oscar Fernandes is Union Programme Implementation Minister.
Margaret Alwa is the eminence grise of Maharasthra. Karnataka is
virtually controlled by AK Anthony, whose secretaries are all from the
Southern Christian association. Valson Thampu, a Hindu hater, is
Chairman NCERT curriculum Review Committee, John Dayal, another known
Hindu baiter, has been named by Sonia Gandhi in the National
Integration Council ; and Kancha Ilaya, who hates Hindus, is being
allowed by the Indian Government to lobby with the UN and US Congress
so that caste discrimination in India is taken-up by these bodies.

I have nothing personnally against Sonia Gandhi, in fact she probably
is a good person to win the alliegance of so many and certainly a
loving mother . I share with her a love for India, like her I have
lived in this country for over 30 years and like her I have married an
Indian. But nevertheless, since she is at the top, Christian
conversions in India seem to have gone in overdrive. More than 4,000
foreign Christian missionaries are involved in conversion activities
across different states. In Tripura, there were no Christians at
independence, there are 120.000 today, a 90% increase since 1991. The
figures are even more striking in Arunachal Pradesh, where there were
only 1710 Christians in 1961, but 1,2 million today, as well as 780
churches! In Andhra Pradesh, churches are coming-up every day in far
flung villages and there was even an attempt to set-up one near
Tirupati. Many of the North-East separatist movements, such as the
Mizo or the Bodos, are not only Christian dominated, but also
sometimes function with the covert backing of the missionaries. In
Kerala, particularly in the poor coastal districts, you find "miracle
boxes" put in local churches: the gullible villager writes out a paper
mentionning his wish: a fising boat, a loan for a pukka house, fees
for the son's schooling… And lo, a few weeks later, the miracle
happens ! And of course the whole family converts, making others in
the village follow suit. During the Tsunami, entire dalit villages in
Tamil Nadu were converted to Christianity with the lure of money.

It is true that there have been a few backlashes against missionnaries
and nuns, particularly the gruesome muder of Staines and his two sons.
But Belgium historian Konenraad Elst laments that « When over a
thousand Hindus are killed and a quarter million Hindus ethnically
cleansed in Kashmir, the world media doesn't even notice, but watch
the worldwide hue and cry when a few local riots take place and a few
missionaries are killed by unidentified tribal miscreants. Christian
Naga terrorists have been killing non-Christians for decades on end,
and this has never been an issue with the world media, except to
bewail the "oppression" of the Nagas by "Hindu India" ». More than
20,000 people have lost their lives to insurgency in Assam and Manipur
in the past two decades. As recently as last week, four paramilitary
Assam Rifles soldiers were killed in an ambush yesterday by the
outlawed United National Liberation Front (UNLF).

The other day I was at the Madras Medical center, the foremost heart
hospital in Madras. Right when you enter the lobby, you find a chapel,
inviting everybody to pray, there are pictures and quotations of
Christ everywhere and a priest visits all the patients, without being
invited at all. Educational institutes and orphanages run by Christian
organisations have become big business in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh
and other states. In Pondichery, where I am often, schools run by
Adventists force their pupils, mostly Hindus, to say Christian prayers
every day and attend mass. They are constantly fed anti Hindu slogans
and biases under different forms, whether it is in history books, or
discourses by priests during religious classes. Even in the elite
schools or colleges, such as Saint Stephen in Delhi, Saint Xavier in
Calcutta or Loyola college in Madras, where no direct proletization is
attempted, Hindu pupils are subtly encouraged towards skepticism of
their own religion, and admiration of whatever is Western. One should
also say that it's a one way traffic : remember the furor when MM
Joshi wanted the Saraswati hymn to be sung at a Chief Ministers' meet
on education ? And imagine the uproar in secular India if portions of
the Bhagavad Gita, this Bible for all humanity, were read at the
beginning of the day in public schools ?

Sonia Gandhi said during the last National Integration Council meeting
: « We are committed to ideological battle against communal forces
which seek to destroy our diversity and polarise us. Certain parties
promote polarisation and confrontation. And there are certain regimes
in India which promote communalism ». But is not actually the Congress
under Mrs Gandhi, which is promoting communalism, by insidiously
installing Christians and Muslims (and Marxists) everywhere, propping
up Christian states, allowing a free hand too missionnaries and
pressing for reservations for Christian Dalits and Muslims, as
recently done in AP, in a nation of 850 million Hindus ?

In my country, France, a Christian majority nation , it would be
unthinkable to have Hindus – or even Indian born French for that
matter – in so many positions of power. Impossible also to find a
non-elected, non French, non-Christian person being the absolute ruler
of the country behind the scene as Sonia Gandhi is in India. Indians
like to say that the greatness of India is that it accepts a foreigner
and a Christian like Sonia Gandhi. But is'nt it rather a weakness, and
an aberration ? Can't we find a worthy leader amongst one billion
Indians ? This is an India where you see today Swami
Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati of Dwarka Peeth, made to disembark from
an Indian Airlines flight for carrying his holy dand, a thin bamboo
stick which is a symbol of their spiritual designation, inside the
aircraft cabin.

Are we heading then towards a Christian India under Sonia Gandhi's
helm? It would be a tremendous loss not only to India, but also to the
world. For in India, you find the only living spirituality left on
this planet.

I have great respect for Swapan Das Gupta. In late 90's he was the only journalist advocating Hindutva line when Indian English language media was spewing venom on Hindutva elements. However I have to disagree with Swapan on the above article he wrote in Daily Pioneer. Uncle SAM never cared for Indias security interests and atleast should have allowed Northern Alliance to kill All Pakistani mid level generals in Kunduz who were allowed to escape safely in operation evil airdrop. Bush and his chela Blair prevented Indian invasion of Pakistan as it could have upset their invasion of Iraq which was not at all connected with terrorism. Still I cannot club Swapan with Chelas of Uncle Sam in Indian establishment like Jaswanth Singh, Manmohan Singh and Chidambaram since I remember his article last year physican heal thyself after Catrina.

Is India next battleground?

Swapan Dasgupta

As a rule, nation-states dislike being trapped in hyphenated relationships. Until the Knowledge Economy extricated us, India loathed being enmeshed in a hyphenated relationship with Pakistan.

Yet, nowhere is the distorting effect of hyphenation more keenly felt than in the deliberations on the war on terror. Five years after 9/11 triggered a chain reaction, the two great trouble spots-Iraq and Afghanistan-have been joined by another disastrous hyphenation.

Regardless of public assurances of "staying the course", domestic politics is propelling the US and UK into considering exit strategies. Last month, President Bush conceded that comparisons of Iraq with Vietnam weren't totally inappropriate. In Britain, Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett admitted that the invasion of Iraq might ultimately be judged a "foreign policy disaster" on par with Suez.

The allusions are revealing. Harold Macmillan's failure to upstage Colonel Nasser 50 years ago meant the end of Britain as an imperial power. For the US, the period from the fall of Saigon in 1974 to Ronald Reagan's election in 1980 was marked by navel-gazing. Indeed, had it not been for Vietnam, the US wouldn't have sat back helplessly as the Shah of Iran was overthrown in 1979.

Any Anglo-American setback in Iraq will have immediate consequences. First, it will anoint Iran as the dominant regional power, with ominous consequences for Israel. Iran will be faced with the choice of either assuming the role of stabiliser or triggering further unrest in West Asia.

Secondly, the retreat from Baghdad will invariably lead to convulsions in the English-speaking world. The immediate impact of both these developments will be in Afghanistan, a country linked by hyphenation to Iraq.

Today, the situation in Afghanistan is grim but not irredeemable. Thanks to years of covert nurturing by Pakistan, the Taliban has regrouped and is posing a serious challenge to NATO forces in eastern Afghanistan. With the opium economy playing its role, the Taliban has exploited the revival of high-handed warlordism to re-establish itself all along the Pushtun belt. Simultaneously, it has launched a propaganda drive aimed at frightening the West into abandoning Afghanistan to the wilds.

The Afghan war is at a critical stage. NATO Secretary-General Jaap Scheffer has forcefully argued that the campaign in eastern Afghanistan will determine the future loyalties of 70 per cent of Afghans who are today sitting on the fence. Yet, the West appears to have lost the will to win.

"I don't believe", Field Marshal Sir Peter Inge, the former chief of British armed forces said last month, "we have a clear strategy in either Afghanistan or Iraq. I sense we've lost the ability to think strategically... I worry that the British Army could risk operational failure if we're not careful in Afghanistan."

The cantonments in Pakistan are already salivating. For five years, Pakistan maintained the fiction of being a partner in the war on terror while simultaneously doing everything to regain its lost "strategic depth" in Afghanistan. With the West overwhelmed by self-doubt, it awaits the grand prize of its duplicity-the recovery of Afghanistan. Just prior to the US invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, President Musharraf used an analogy from 7th century Arabia to justify a tactical retreat from Afghanistan. The sub-text, which the West wilfully overlooked, was that Pakistan would be playing a double game.

For India, the trends in Afghanistan are life threatening. India was understandably jubilant when the Taliban over-reached itself in 2001 and invited American ire. Afghanistan had become the nursery of the jihad in Kashmir and yet India could do nothing about it. The US undertook the fumigation job and earned our gratitude. Today, the wheel threatens to turn a full circle.

The consequences of a Western defeat in Afghanistan on India will be catastrophic. First, it will be the signal for a no-holds-barred international Islamic jihad in Kashmir. Second, the scope of jihad is certain to be enlarged to the heartland.

It's the domino theory at play. If Iraq goes under, the fallout will engulf Afghanistan. If that happens, India will be the next battleground of a resurgent jihad. We can gloat over the present Anglo-American discomfiture at our own peril.

Oh no...these kinda Sikhs will never even whimper when the Italian Barmaid leads them by their tails...we already have a burning example that of Man-Moron Singh in front of us...u know all these so-called Khalistani Sikhs never stop themselves from crying hoarse 'bout how their fellow Sikhs in India have been 'persecuted' by the 'right-wing Hindu nationlists'...when it was the Govt. n party of Sonia Maino that was responsible for one of the worst riots in Indian history against Sikhs in '84...what her dear hubby -- that moron Rajeev said 'bout the Delhi riots, after his dear Ma fell to the bullets of Beant & Satwant Singh, that when the tree falls earth around it shakes....also when the movement for Khalistan was at its peak during the '80s all these terrorists after launching attacks in India use to escape to West (read UK, Canada & US etc.) and there under the guise of political persecution demanded asylum...also their rich financial backers in these nations...other day-dreaming Khalistani Sikhs use to petition the respective govts. of these countries n have them pass resolutions condemning India for persecution of its Sikh minorities...LOL! But you know what happened...immediately after 9/1l the shoe was the other foot...when some Sikhs became target of racial attacks & discrimination in US...these very same Khalistanis started claiming themselves to be Indian....as they say in Hindi: Ki Jab apne sar be aatee hai to...to apni Maa hi yaad aatee hai...:) they shouted from roof-tops that they were not Talibans but Sikhs from India...n now when India is on the rise they have no qulams in calling it their home...talk about changing colors like chameleon...
Their dream of carving a Khlaistan out of India & Pakistan remained just that...a pipe-dream...:)..I remember reading an interview with Bibi Amarjeett Kaur.. head of Akhand Kirtani Jhattha...a frontal organisation, of Sikh females, for Khlaistani terrorists on the lines of Dukhtrane Millat in Kashmir...that went 'bout implementing the dictats of terrorists..when asked about the geographical area of the so-called Khalistan...the lady pontificated 'bout how its gonna cover Lahore in the east and Delhi in the West...all the way to Bombay in the south...with the Khalistani flag flying from the ramparts of Red Fort in Delhi....n I thought this lady is sure high on something that she can even think of all this given her pea-sized brain.
